Help Us Educate the Design Community
In a recent focus group conducted by
Integrated System Design
magazine, designers said that the majority of information they use to help them do their jobs comes from Web sites like isdmag.com. That's why it's so important that we provide quality editorial written by members of
the design community.
isdmag.com is currently accepting article submissions for online publication in the areas of Design & Development, ICs & µPs, and Custom ICs & Programmable Logic. Depending on the length of the article,
a $300-$500 stipend will be awarded if the article is used.
If you would like to contribute, please contact Sean Dean at

Benefits of Writing Articles for Online Publishing
- In a recent focus group conducted by ISD, designers said they search the Web more frequently than they look though magazines to find information. The Web acts as a research tool, helping designers find information from multiple sources in just minutes.
- Since visitors do not need to subscribe to isdmag.com as they do to the magazine, access to your article is not limited to ISD's subscriber
database. That means your article is available for viewing to a wider audience.
- isdmag.com receives over 150,000 page views per month.
- isdmag.com is listed on every major search engine (Infoseek, Yahoo, Excite, etc.), which makes your article accessible to anyone searching for information on the topic you choose to write about, whether or not they know about isdmag.com.
- Your article will be featured on isdmag.com in the appropriate editorial section for three months. After the initial
three months, it will be archived permanently on the site, making it accessible to visitors indefinitely.
- Just like magazine articles, the reader can download or print Web articles to save.
- Mistakes can be fixed on the fly even after the article "goes to print."
- There are fewer limitations to the size and scope of articles published on isdmag.com. This means it's likely your article won't be truncated to fit, as often happens in magazine publishing.
